Dr. Christina Garrity is a Board Certified Neurologic Clinical Specialist. Her mission is to provide quick and easy access to quality specialized care for those suffering from dizziness and neurological conditions.
She spent a decade treating complex neurologic disorders in inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation facilities where she quickly witnessed the impact of research based practice to promote neuroplasticity needed for recovery. As a neurologic clinical specialist she excels in treating stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, Parkinson Disease, Multiple sclerosis, and many other balance disorders.
In 2022, she opened Labyrinth Physical Therapy with a vision of breaking down the barriers she witnessed in the traditional healthcare model. She wanted to provide direct access care that was truly patient centered.
Dr. Garrity teaches multiple continuing education courses, serves as adjunct faculty for the University of Dayton's Doctor of Physical Therapy Program, and performs research in chronic stroke as she currently pursues her PhD in Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Cincinnati.
The physical therapists at Labyrinth Physical Therapy and Wellness have all completed vestibular competency training at Emory University and additional advanced vestibular and concussion training through the University of Pittsburgh. Each team member has excelled in their practice of vestibular and neurological therapy interventions through many years of clinical practice, continuing education, and teach other practitioners on various educational platforms throughout the country.
Dr. Garrity was born and raised in the Dayton area and returned to Dayton to pursue her degree and career in physical therapy. She and her husband share 3 beautiful children that keep life very entertaining. She loves spending time outside and prefers vacationing in the beautiful National Parks. Her hobbies include portrait photography and painting portraits. She played college soccer however now she prefers backyard baseball with her two oldest sons or a game of PIG in the driveway even though her oldest son seems to beat her every time.
